HURRICANE DOGFIGHT
20" X 15"
  By Darryl Legg

Talk to any Hurricane pilot and you'll hear nothing but praise and affection for this superb fighter. Hurricane Battle of Britain ace Frank Carey said "It was built like the Forth Bridge and could take enormous punishment and get you home. On one occasion I had my entire rudder and most of one elevator blown clean off, and collected a hole in my port wing a man could fall through. My Hurricane got me home and landed quite normally!"

Professional aviation artist Darryl Legg's new all-action painting provides a wonderful study of the Hurricane, its ribbed stretched canvas rear section providing a reminder of its pre-war heritage. In this typical Battle of Britain scenario Hurricanes of No. 1 Squadron are seen duelling with Messerschmitt Me109's during the height of the conflict. A superb piece of original aviation art by a uniquely talented artist.

This evocative painting comes on artists stretchers ready to frame and securely packaged for shipment via fast courier (Fedex, DHL, etc) at our cost anywhere in the world.
